Pastor Krista M. Dawkins-Tyson was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois to the deceased Elder Johnnie C. Dawkins and Pastor Rena M. Haywood-Dawkins.
Upon the completion of her high school education, she attended two local colleges to fulfill her passion in the fashion industry. While attending secular colleges there was an undeniable call upon her life known by her mother and soon to be a reality for Pastor Krista Tyson.
In August of 1982, Pastor Tyson moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend Aenon (Enon) Bible College to major in Theology.
In 1985, Pastor Tyson began to walk in the ministry of expounding the Word of God. In August 1986 Pastor Tyson graduated from Aenon (Enon) Bible College as Salutatorian receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Pastor Tyson continued her Theological Studies at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana while teaching at Aenon Bible College.
Pastor Tyson was ordained into the ministry during the August 1986 Convention of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World held in Detroit, Michigan.
While in her second year at Aenon Bible College. Pastor Tyson became acquainted with Bishop C. Shawn Tyson. On December 9, 1989, Evangelist Dawkins and Minister Tyson were united in Holy Matrimony. To this union was born one gifted son, Elder James E. Tyson II.
In July 2010 God called His servants; Bishop C. Shawn Tyson, Pastor Krista Tyson and Pastor James Tyson ll to relocate to Bishop C. Shawn Tyson’s family’s home church: Mt Calvary Pentecostal Church (Calvary Ministries International) in Youngstown, Ohio to carry on the assignment of his spiritual Father, The Honorable Bishop Norman L. Wagner.
In October 2012, God sent Bishop C. Shawn Tyson, Pastor Krista Tyson, and Pastor James E, Tyson ll, Senior Pastor of Christ Church Apostolic, and his Wife, Desiree Tyson, back to Christ Church Apostolic to continue the Legacy of Bishop James E. Tyson I.
March 2020, Pastor Tyson began a Virtual End-Time Devotional and Prayer Broadcast entitled “Command Your Morning”, Monday thru Friday at 5 a.m. EST, to speak into the lives of the people of God and to give understanding and enlightenment to Seekers. Birthed from the Broadcast came, Seekers Gathering.
SEEKERS GATHERING IS an End-Time Encounter for those who are consumed with knowing and doing the Will of God in the earth, and in their life. Seekers possess a mandate to be instrumental in the fulfillment of the will of God in this season. So we Gather to Seek God in Prayer, Supplication, Intercession, Thanksgiving, Worship, and Praise. We will Receive, Reform, and be Refreshed to be Deployed.
Pastor Krista Tyson assists her husband as Overseer and Pastor at Mt. Calvary Pentecostal Church, Youngstown, Ohio and Christ Church Apostolic, Indianapolis, Indiana through the “Power of Partnership in Ministry” …TO THE GLORY OF GOD!
A Pastor with a heart to reach people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. Pastor Omar is a lover of sports, traveling (especially family road trips), and food.
Pastor Omar was born in Kingston, Jamaica and migrated to the United States as a toddler. Raised in Brooklyn, NY, Pastor Omar attended Sheepshead Bay High School and went on to receive an Associates Degree in Biblical Studies & Theology from Indiana Bible College in Indianapolis, IN.
God called Pastor Omar to his greatest adventure: following God and dedicating his life to ministry. After 10 years of full-time ministry as an executive assistant, student pastor and an evangelist, Pastor Omar and his wife, Cilicia, launched The Sanctuary in Elmont, New York.
Pastor Omar married his best friend Cilicia (Lisa) in May 2003 and together, they have four wonderful boys, Isaiah, Jayden, Caleb, and Ethan. Along with pastoring a church, Pastor Omar travels and brings the message of Jesus Christ to many churches and conferences across the country and overseas. His ministry has made a tremendous impact in the lives of many people, especially young people. Pastor Omar’s greatest joy is simple: His God, his family and his church.
