Pastor Krista M. Dawkins-Tyson was born and raised in Rock Island, Illinois to the deceased Elder Johnnie C. Dawkins and Pastor Rena M. Haywood-Dawkins.
Upon the completion of her high school education, she attended two local colleges to fulfill her passion in the fashion industry. While attending secular colleges there was an undeniable call upon her life known by her mother and soon to be a reality for Pastor Krista Tyson.
In August of 1982, Pastor Tyson moved to Indianapolis, Indiana to attend Aenon (Enon) Bible College to major in Theology.
In 1985, Pastor Tyson began to walk in the ministry of expounding the Word of God. In August 1986 Pastor Tyson graduated from Aenon (Enon) Bible College as Salutatorian receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Theology. Pastor Tyson continued her Theological Studies at Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis, Indiana while teaching at Aenon Bible College.
Pastor Tyson was ordained into the ministry during the August 1986 Convention of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World held in Detroit, Michigan.
While in her second year at Aenon Bible College. Pastor Tyson became acquainted with Bishop C. Shawn Tyson. On December 9, 1989, Evangelist Dawkins and Minister Tyson were united in Holy Matrimony. To this union was born one gifted son, Elder James E. Tyson II.
In July 2010 God called His servants; Bishop C. Shawn Tyson, Pastor Krista Tyson and Pastor James Tyson ll to relocate to Bishop C. Shawn Tyson’s family’s home church: Mt Calvary Pentecostal Church (Calvary Ministries International) in Youngstown, Ohio to carry on the assignment of his spiritual Father, The Honorable Bishop Norman L. Wagner.
In October 2012, God sent Bishop C. Shawn Tyson, Pastor Krista Tyson, and Pastor James E, Tyson ll, Senior Pastor of Christ Church Apostolic, and his Wife, Desiree Tyson, back to Christ Church Apostolic to continue the Legacy of Bishop James E. Tyson I.
March 2020, Pastor Tyson began a Virtual End-Time Devotional and Prayer Broadcast entitled “Command Your Morning”, Monday thru Friday at 5 a.m. EST, to speak into the lives of the people of God and to give understanding and enlightenment to Seekers. Pastor Edward (Busta) Roy Fields was born on November 22, 1989 in Philadelphia, PA to Mr. Eddie and Wilfredia Fields. Receiving his High School Diploma, from the Philadelphia Public School System, he later studied Criminal Justice at Central Penn College. While pursuing his degree, Pastor Fields decided to take the courageous step to pursue his musical career.
Pastor Fields is a self-taught musician specializing in Piano, Organ and Drums. His musical influences includes: George “Spanky” McCurdy, Lil John Roberts, John Lawson, Eric “Boots” Green, Tramaine Walker and Bishop Marvin Winans. At the tender age of 3, his parents discovered that he had an amazing gift and they decided to invest in it with musical classes, conferences and etc. Primarily, he studied under Professor Garfield Williams and his uncle, the Late Bishop Karl L. Washington.
In addition to being an anointed and skillful player, he is also an amazing vocalist being blessed to record a plethora of music singles. His musical accomplishments include serving as a National musician for Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Inc., Williams Sisters, InTune Band and Grace Music Group. He, Pastor Fields has also been blessed with the opportunity to accompany: Tia Pittman, Gospel Blenders, Freedom, No Question, World Communications High School Gospel Choir, Bryan Jackson and Chosen Generation, A.S.O.L.C Mass & Recording Choir, Anointed Voices of Ford Memorial, Rodney Harris, Lee Mazin and a plethora of more.
Additionally, God has graced him to serve as an Instructor for Bravo Music School and to be endorsed by Zawmar Drumsticks. More recently, Pastor Fields was a Top 8 contestant on the highly popular show, Sunday’s Best! Being selected out of thousands of skillful musicians further solidifies the true gift that God has given him. Out of all the myriad of accomplishments that Pastor Fields has reached in his life, being Pastor is one of his greatest treasures.
After the sudden loss of his uncle Bishop Karl L Washington, Pastor Fields was elected by Ambassador Seed of Love Church (A.S.O.L.C) to serve as Pastor. This event gave him the distinction of being the youngest Pastor within C.O.O.L.J.C; where he is a third generation Preacher and Pastor. As the senior leader of A.S.O.L.C, or the Seed/Green Carpet as it is affectionately called, has blossomed into a true force within the North Philadelphia neighborhood.
Under his leadership, a Weekly Food Distribution Program, Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, Back to School Giveaway, Christmas Toy Explosion, Men’s Bible Study, Youth Bible Study and more have been established. Evangelism and Community Involvement has become the hallmark of his tenure as Pastor and he has charged the congregation to grow to new heights. Showing the strength that God gives, Pastor Fields was able to stabilize his beloved congregation with the help of a committed laity and the wisdom of his maternal grandmother, the Late Mother Hennie M. Washington. Mother Hennie Washington, the Founder of A.S.O.L.C, understood the calling and gift on his life. She was committed to ensuring that Pastor Fields truly accepted the insurmountable task placed at his feet.
Regularly, Pastor Fields attributes much of his success to the prayers and confidence which she bestowed on him. Pastor Edward R. Fields continues to be a beacon of light in every space which God allows him to occupy. He believes that our time should be spent doing what God has chosen with the tools that God gave us. He is a Preacher, Pastor, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend but most of all he is God’s chosen for this generation!
